Evaluation Methods for Outstanding Academic Paper Awards (Trial)

(Revised in July 2018)

Article 1 In order to mobilize and encourage the enthusiasm and creativity of members of Henan Civil Architecture Society and scientific and technological workers in the field of civil architecture to promote scientific and technological innovation and scientific and technological progress，To commend scientific and technological workers and achievements that have made outstanding contributions to basic theory, engineering application and development research，Promote scientific and technological innovation and scientific and technological progress in the field of civil construction in Henan Province，The "Henan Province Civil Engineering Science and Technology Award · Excellent Academic Paper Award" (hereinafter referred to as "Excellent Paper Award") is set up.，And in accordance with the relevant provisions，Formulate these measures。

Article 2 This award is the Honorable Mention Award for academic papers in the field of civil engineering and architecture in Henan Province。The winners will be awarded the certificate of outstanding academic papers and commended by the Association。

Article 3 This award is selected once a year。Academic papers published within 2 years before the end of August each year are accepted。

Article 4 This award shall follow the principles of voluntary application, peer expert review, comprehensive evaluation, commendation and award based on merit。Adhere to the principles of openness, fairness and justice。

Article 5 The author of the paper applying for the excellent paper award must be a member of the Association, and the first author must be at least 1 year old。

Article 6 The Award does not charge a judging fee to applicants who meet the requirements of Article 5。

Article 7 The scope of paper selection for the excellent paper Award is within the time limit prescribed in Article 3 of these Regulations, and meets one of the following conditions:

(1) Academic papers published at various levels of academic conferences organized by the Association, its branches and local societies;

(2) Papers published in academic journals officially published at home and abroad。

Article 8 Within the time limit prescribed in Article 3 of these Regulations, any paper that falls under the following circumstances cannot be declared:

(1) Academic papers whose copyright disputes have not been properly resolved;

(2) Papers classified as state secrets according to the Secrecy Law of the People's Republic of China。

Article 9 Declaration procedures and requirements。

(1) Applicants should fill in the "Application and Review of Excellent Academic Paper Award of Henan Civil Engineering and Architecture Society" (hereinafter referred to as the "Application and review", see Annex I) according to the prescribed requirements and contents.。

(2) The applicant will fill in the "application review form" to the branch (branch, professional/working committee, local society)。

(3) After each branch has passed the qualification examination of the declared papers and their authors, it shall organize peer experts to conduct preliminary evaluation of the papers and submit them to the society after signing recommendations。

(4) The society invites relevant experts to set up the "Expert Review Committee of Henan Civil Engineering Science and Technology Award · Excellent Academic Paper Award" (hereinafter referred to as the "Review Committee") to conduct a comprehensive review of the papers submitted by each branch and the qualifications, paper level and preliminary review opinions of the authors;then，The "Evaluation Committee" will submit the comprehensive evaluation results to the "Henan Province Civil Engineering Science and Technology Award · Youxiu Academic Paper Award Evaluation Committee" for evaluation。

Article 10 The results of the final evaluation by the evaluation committee of the Henan Civil and Architectural Science and Technology Award and Excellent Academic Essay Award shall be publicized, announced, issued a certificate and notified by the Henan Civil and Architectural Society。

Article 11 These Regulations shall come into force as of the date of promulgation。

Article 12 The right of interpretation of these Regulations belongs to Henan Civil Architecture Society。
